Father God, I am grateful to see Your hand at work! Sometimes – many times – things seem nigh impossible but as the angel, Gabriel proclaimed in Luke 1:37, “For with God nothing [is or ever] shall be impossible.” AMP
All praise to our mighty God!

One thing about politics that drives me crazy is that no matter who is in office, they readily take credit for any successes during their tenure regardless of whose efforts brought it into existence. And they are equally diligent in placing blame on their predecessor for all the failures during their term! They never ever seem to grasp the concept that there is no “I” or “U” in team!
In the true Kingdom of God, it is nothing like that at all! I am so grateful that we all are working toward the same goal and equally rejoice at its advancement no matter what our task. We also join one with another in grieving our losses, but we rejoice in the unquenchable hope that they are but a fleeting blip in the annals of time. Though it seems a majority of humanity stands against God’s Kingdom, we hold to the assurance that God’s Kingdom will come to fruition!
As Jesus implies, it makes no difference who does the “planting” because all rejoice when the harvest is brought in, that is when people are brought to eternal life! v36
Even in Jesus’ lifetime, He and His followers were harvesters of the diligent labors of their predecessors. The prophets and faithful of the Old Testament, as well as John the Baptist, had prepared the way. And Jesus in His might and glory proceeded boldly down its path!
We too can be both planters and harvesters of in the great fields…already ripe [white] for harvest! The wages for our labor is the gift of eternal life with the innumerable victors in Christ, coming both before us and after us!
Lord Jesus, may we be about Your work, whether it is planting or harvesting, for we are imbued with all the power, wisdom, strength, and love necessary to complete whatever task may be at hand. For we have all we ask by Your mighty hand!
